Our Documentation stream (edited by Emma Leigh Waldron) features pieces that utilize, create, and critique documentation of analog games. Articles in this stream may use documentation as the core of their work, as in archival research or focusing analysis on the tangible elements and documents associated with ephemeral game experiences. We are also eager to provide a space for designers, gamers, and scholars to document their own game experiences in any number of ways: in addition to traditional write-ups, we welcome creative submissions such as photo essays, videos, diegetic/in-character documents, and poems, stories, and other alternative forms of narrative. All essays in the Documentation stream demonstrate critical reflection about documentation practices and traditions.
