  1. An excellent analysis, yet this reading of Real and Virtual still seems problematic, confused, a little too convenient – even still impossibly tangled.

    Who’s not to say that a ‘a clean and unproblematic interpretation’ of violent historical actualities is also precisely what’s already embedded – ‘abstracted *into*’ one’s own unchallenged (heterotopic) psychological ideology?

    Such a reading sounds a little like one wants a real vegan cake, and to virtually eat it – yet something about it still tastes off. I suspect it’s one of those Zizekian oblique double (mirror) twists.
